Dana Bridges

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Dana has a rich history of serving the Lord and His children. Her unique blend of professional experience and involvement in ministry allows her to incorporate spiritual principles, scriptures, and prayer into traditional therapy concepts, a practice which typically increases the success of treatment exponentially.

Dana holds a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and a Doctorate of Theology degree from Narrow Way Bible College & Seminary. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and is certified with the National Board for Certified Counselors. Dana continues to study the Bible, as it is her belief there is no end to learning about God and His word.

Dana has previous experience working in addiction treatment facilities as well as in private practice. As a servant to the Church, Dana has served as an assistant youth pastor, participated in multiple mission trips to the nations, and leads worship when called upon. Dana considers the most important aspect of her life to be her steadfast faith and her biggest accomplishment to be her successful marriage to her best friend, Will, who is a United States veteran. Naturally, due to her familiarity with military life, Dana expresses a deep appreciation and fondness toward our service members.

In addition, after experiencing infertility struggles and pregnancy loss, Dana considers the joy of her life to be her miracle child, Calah. Due to Dana’s personal journey, she has a unique gentleness and kindness for those who share a similar background.

Dana utilizes talk therapy, cognitive behavioral concepts, and Gestalt techniques which are traditional clinical counseling practices. As a licensed therapist, Dana maintains ethical boundaries regarding personal belief systems and allows clients to maintain complete autonomy, meaning she will not incorporate her Christian beliefs or practices in counseling sessions without the client’s permission.
